Which car audio package fits your music?

Price is the wrong place to start. Begin with what you actually play — the right drivers for vocals are not the right drivers for bass.

Match the package to your music, not your budget. For vocal and acoustic music choose Platinum ($2,688), Diamond ($3,488) or Titanium ($4,388). For EDM and party music choose Bronze ($988) or Silver ($1,388). For bass-heavy music choose Gold ($1,888) — the first tier with DSP control over low frequencies.

Vocal & acoustic

Singer-songwriter, jazz, ballads, anything where the voice carries the track.

Vocals live in the midrange, and the midrange is where cheap drivers fall apart. These tiers use aluminium-membrane and high-end hard-dome designs with DSP time alignment, so the voice sits centred on the windscreen instead of leaking out of the door card nearest you.

We recommend

EDM & party

House, techno, pop and anything you play loud with the windows down.

What matters here is headroom — staying clean when you turn it up. Steg and Blam build high-sensitivity drivers that go loud on modest power without the harshness that makes you turn the volume back down after ten minutes.

We recommend

Bass-heavy

Hip-hop, trap, drum and bass, and anything where the low end is the point.

Deep bass needs control, not just a bigger subwoofer. Gold is the first tier with a DSP amplifier, and the 68-step crossover plus phase control is what stops low frequencies turning into a boom that drowns everything above it.

As its a modified feature on my car. I’m pleasantly surprised that they managed to get everything working perfectly again. Highly recommended!”

Choosing by ear

Common questions

Does the music I listen to really change which system I should buy?

Yes, more than the price does. A system tuned for deep bass makes different compromises from one tuned for vocal clarity. Vocal-focused listeners are better served by Platinum, Diamond or Titanium; bass-focused listeners get more from Gold's DSP control; and if you mostly play EDM loud, Bronze or Silver deliver the headroom without overspending.

What if I listen to a bit of everything?

Most people do, and that is a good argument for a DSP tier — Gold and above. A DSP lets us set a tuning that holds up across genres rather than optimising for one. Come in for a demo with a playlist that reflects your actual listening, not just your favourite track.

Can the system be re-tuned if my taste changes?

Yes. On DSP-equipped systems the tuning is software, not hardware, so we can re-balance it without changing any components. Bring the car back and tell us what you want more of.

Bring the playlist you actually listen to

Not the audiophile demo track — the songs you play on the way to work. That is what tells you which package is right.
